Seven is a fugue of women’s voices, sympathetic, bold, funny, courageous and impossible to ignore.

We believe that these voices and others like them must be heard and gender equality assured if we are to move towards a truly sustainable future.

Audiences experience a diversity of cultures while bearing witness to the varied way in which individual women have overcome seemingly insurmountable hurdles to justice and freedom.

Women’s voices must be heard and gender equality assured if we are to move towards a truly sustainable future

Partners from Theatre4Business, alongside their corporate training and facilitation work, have directed and performed in ‘Seven’, a documentary theatre piece based on the experiences of seven women from different cultures who have overcome tremendous odds, many of them having been subjected to extremes of violence against women.

‘Seven’ has been performed globally and translated into eight languages. The play was commissioned by Vital Voices Global Partnership, an organisation that identifies trains and empowers emerging women leaders.

Performances of ‘Seven’ in the South West of England raise awareness of violence against women and collect funds for local practical action.
